This is a redo of a song from another Volume. We decided to sculpt this song into a live show format. We actually wanted to perform live..and would have to rehearse our songs. We are running through the jungle now. Every man for himself. Just as we started Hit Machine with a jungle tune, so we leave the comfort of suburbia and go back to a wild spot in nature. We are running. It is not safe out there...it is a predator world of the unknown. Hit Machine ended in the 1980's, which were turning into a time of great affluence and comfort. The 1990's would bring the end of rock music as the main focus, replaced with HipHop. By 2000, I would be gone from Orinda, and entering into the wild nature of the high desert on the Mexican border. I was seeking awareness. Just as I had used Hit Machine to review my life, I would now make music with Twila that was pure Shamanistic Ritual. I would soon become the Tiger Man.
