Occasionally, after a session with Hit Machine, I would record a solo acoustic song to debrief from the intensity of the full electric sessions. This song is just me. Me sitting in the silent living room in Orinda, Ca. wondering how I got to this suburban house with this suburban wife. I often said that I was going down to the local bar....but I never did. I never had a drink of alcohol during our relationship. But I felt that the pressures that were building could easily drive a man to drink.
