We were all inspired by the illustrations by the artist..Dore..who did his version of Dante's Inferno. Beautiful woodcuts of the story of Virgil leading the poet Dante into the circles of Hell. This was the first and only time we invited a guest to play with us. He brought a prototype of the electric Drum pad..which makes the cymbal like sounds on this track. I must admit that I was the one hitting the pad...off time. Following a very steady robot beat was foreign to me as a drummer. I was the organic..meeting the robot for the very first time. Nice guitar flanger by John on this track.
